HiFi Music Server
The NSX series music server is a network and local playback device based on the CelHeart-G1 platform, featuring a high-performance x86 CPU and dual-stage linear ATX power supply. It supports CelPlayer, Roon Server, and UPnP Server.
It also supports mainstream streaming protocols including Roon Bridge, UPnP Render, AirPlay, and HQPlayer NAA — making it an ideal digital front end for HiFi systems.
Core Design
The CelHeart G1 revolutionizes dual-stage linear power design, overcoming limitations of traditional ATX power supplies. Paired with a high-performance CPU, it delivers smooth performance for professional HiFi use and an exceptional listening experience
Learn MoreThe NSX adopts the CelCLK II PLL system with 1Hz locking technology, using a 50MHz OCXO as the VCO clock. Combined with an ideal SMA input interface, it achieves high-precision global clock synchronization
Learn MoreWith meticulous thermal planning, CelHeart-G1 arranges the high-heat CPU and NVMe SSD in a coplanar and coaxial layout, achieving excellent thermal performance across the device
Learn MoreOn the hardware side, it employs full PCIe I/O interfaces with independent power supplies and a unified clock. On the software side, it runs a real-time Linux kernel with full memory read/write and memory-mapped hardware I/O. The entire system delivers unparalleled ultra-low latency
Learn MoreDevices based on high-performance X86 CPUs have fundamentally different current and voltage requirements compared to traditional equipment. To address this, CelAudio has designed an entirely new digital power supply architecture optimized for these demands, delivering exceptional playback performance
Network Topology
The network clock module provides 10/100/1000M network interfaces with software-configurable operating rates. It also incorporates the CelCLK II PLL system with an onboard 50MHz OCXO (-85dB@1Hz, 1e-11@1s) as the VCO clock source, supporting BNC/SMA 10MHz external clock input. This module is a mandatory module for NSX/NSXD.
The USB Audio output module implements USB 2.0 output via PCIe, using the clock signal from the network clock module and a fully linear power supply — laying the foundation for high-quality USB audio playback. This optional module is for NSX.
The USB Audio and Digital Output module implements USB 2.0 output via PCIe, using the clock signal from the network clock module and a fully linear power supply — laying the foundation for high-quality USB audio playback. It also provides I2S/AES/SPDIF output interfaces implemented with XMOS and FPGA technology. Since USB, XMOS, and FPGA all use the clock signal from the network clock module, it differs fundamentally from traditional implementations. From PCIe to the final digital output, the entire signal path remains in a clock-synchronized state using the high-quality clock from the network clock module. Therefore, the digital output is significantly superior to traditional USB interfaces. This optional module is for NSXD.
